flush in the froth

dislocated bodies
slosh back and forth
on the bleeding deck

distended bladders
gush
into darkness

elongated vertebrae
clunk
through steel eyes

enmeshed sacs of meat
sway
under airborne scissors

exhausted fibers
hun loosely
in the hull

embittered plumes
strum out
beloved chords
lost to the deep
